1. Pump Structure and Components

The YB1 Series Vane Pump consists of a rotor, vanes, a cam ring, and an inlet and outlet port. The rotor is positioned eccentrically inside the cam ring, and the vanes are mounted on the rotor with the ability to slide in and out. This structure allows the vanes to maintain contact with the cam ring as the rotor rotates, creating chambers of variable volume to transport hydraulic fluid.

2. Fluid Suction and Transportation

As the rotor turns, the volume of the chamber on the suction side increases, causing hydraulic fluid to be drawn into the pump from the inlet port. The vanes extend outward due to centrifugal force and the cam rings shape, forming a tight seal that prevents backflow. The fluid is then trapped between the vanes and carried around the rotor to the discharge side of the pump.

3. Fluid Discharge

On the discharge side, the volume of the chambers decreases as the rotor continues to rotate. This reduction in volume pushes the hydraulic fluid out of the pump and into the hydraulic system. The continuous rotation of the rotor ensures a steady and consistent flow, while the vanes maintain smooth operation and efficiency.
